We've got some things to announce in the coming days, (& a newsletter to tell you about them) but we got excited about the fact that our event copies for Don Macdonald 's October 5th launch have arrived today! We're looking forward to actually having people in person for an event with Don, instead of having to do a lock down lock in!!!

Well, with Winnipeg Folk Festival arriving, it is no surprise that summer has heated up in earnest here. For those who like to beat the heat and summer inside, EE has been enjoying Jon Klassen & Mac Barnett 's "Summer"! (We would say that she wouldn't limit her enjoyment to just reading the book).

We had a great time with Dave Barber Cinematheque & Nicole Bazuin for the Manitoba Premiere of "Modern W***e". For those who missed, or those who were planning to come to the original July 11 screening, we have some signed copies of the book left!
