While vacuuming the debris is sucked through the hose and into the power unit's intake. With true cyclonic filtration, the debris is separated from the airflow and forced downward into the canister. About 96-98% of the debris ends up in the canister, while only 2-4% is exhausted outside.

Basically, you make the mess and our systems handle the dirty part ;)

We get this question ALL the time so Jefferson’s pup, Nala, was kind enough to donate some of her fur for a little real-life testing.

One of the most satisfying things about a retractable central vacuum hose? Watching it pull itself right back into the wall 🤌🏼

In our showroom, we have a 60 ft Chameleon Retractable Central Vacuum hose that has to fight gravity by retracting up into the ceiling but look at how fast it goes! In a typical home, hoses are usually shorter and aren't fighting gravity, making it even smoother.
