The garden centre will be closed today as we have an ongoing power outage and need to tidy up and repair some greenhouses. Should all be back to normal for tomorrow. In the meantime, you can still shop SALES (seeds, trees, shrubs) over at sagegarden.ca.

That storm was pretty wild! Not much rain here, but such intense wind and that huge lighting show. Hope eveything is well where you are!

As a plant collector, I sometimes forget to shout out loud enough about really cool plants that we’ve been propagating at the greenhouse, that grow beautifully for gardeners on the prairies! There are a lot… but here are five that were getting my attention this morning: patchouli, Golden Wind lemon verbena, black mint, peanut butter tree and Danielle’s Dream sage.
