A new film by Jamie Michaels .michaels and Liam Karp !

In 1944 Germany invaded Hungary. Adam, a young Jewish-Hungarian boy was taken across the street to the house of his neighbours who agreed to hide him from the N***s. He watched through the slats of the fence as his family was taken away. After being denounced and discovered he embarked on an incredible journey of survival.

“I Draw Them the Best I Can” not only tells Adam’s story surviving the Holocaust, but also how his experiences have rippled through his family for generations, and how the process of making art—particularly comics—has allowed Adam to reimagine, grapple with, and process the events of his childhood.
