Fall in Calgary, where the skies stay blue a little longer 💙☀️ We’re pretty lucky to call one of the sunniest places in Canada home.

BUZZD started with a simple problem: making healthy habits easier to stick to.

Co-founder Lauren wanted to incorporate more superfoods into her routine, but could never remember powders consistently. There was one thing she never forgot though: her morning coffee.

So Lauren and her partner Alex started experimenting, creating blends they could easily add to something they already enjoyed every day.

Early versions went out in little bags to friends and neighbours for feedback, and weren’t always a hit. But they kept tweaking until they landed on something that was both functional and genuinely delicious. That experiment eventually became BUZZD Nutrition.

Years later, Calgary based Sarjesa founder Alexandra Sangster acquired BUZZD, bringing the brand into its next chapter right here in Alberta.

Today, BUZZD’s blends are made in Calgary, including their Hot Chocolate made with cacao and functional mushrooms.

Pretty cool beginnings for something that started with a morning cup of coffee ☕🧡
