Think you can’t mend because you don’t know how to sew?

Start here.

The running stitch might be the simplest stitch there is — up, down, up, down — but it can patch a hole, reinforce worn fabric and turn a repair into something you actually want people to notice.

At our Visible Mending Workshop, we’ll start with the basics and build from there. Patching, stitching, embroidery and plenty of room to play.

Bring a denim or non-stretch cotton piece you’d like to work on. We’ll supply the needles, thread, embroidery supplies and fabric scraps.
