Watching the magic happen at the mill ✨

We recently visited Wellington Fibres in Ontario, and they just happened to be processing our Cotswold yarn! A huge thanks to Donna and staff for the tour, explaining in detail just how the process works. AND an even bigger thanks for working with us to create our beloved Cotswold yarns with such care and expertise. Bonus- we got to see the cutest Angora goats they farm to produce Canadian mohair 🧶

Ann wowed us this morning when she arrived wearing her fresh off the needles Ranunculus! What’s not to love about this Ranunculus; a sweater in a weekend knit using a single cone of Cotton/bamboo from Maurice Brassard which cost $18! Colour is Cayenne and the video at the end shows the Navajo plying technique which makes this possible! A great summer knit!

Pam just finished her Rosie Yoke Blouse by Lene Holme Samson with Berroco Ultra Alpaca and would you believe it’s her first colourwork sweater?! The tension looks awesome, her floats are nice and loose, and the colours she chose are subtle while still giving enough contrast to seethe design easily. In other words, it’s a victory! 😊😊

Three month old Cotswold lambs are growing so quickly! We are so happy to have a few more black lambs so we can have black yarn spun at Wellington Fibres. We have just received a new shipment of black and Jamie didn’t waste any time coming up with a black and white hat! Pattern/Kit coming soon.
