Hi friends! We will be back for our second and final day of doughnuts this Saturday! Dear friends, next Saturday, December 17th, will be our last day at the Wolfville Farmers Market. I started this business five years ago, and the time has come to step away. I am so proud of all that I’ve achieved, and so grateful for all of your wonderful and enthusiastic support. But I am also exhausted, in body, mind, and soul. My husband and I both work other nearly full time jobs, and parent two amazing kids. It’s all become too much to keep up. The cost of making and selling my products seems to get higher every day. I am unable to make a living at it, no matter how hard I work, how much I sell. This is deeply sad for me. Being a baker has been a huge part of my identity, and realizing I can’t make it work has me feeling a little lost. I am sharing this with the hope that others who are going through similar hard times will feel a little less alone. Sending all my love this holiday season. ❤️ Abby

This cake came to play. Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, strawberry jam filling and chocolate ganache drip. Topped with chocolate chunk cookie sandwiches and local valley strawberries. So much to love about this one.
