We are a locally owned flooring business in Woodstock ON in search of a Warehouse Associate.
This role is a great fit for someone who can work independently throughout the day.
We welcome an individual with strong problem solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
📋 Daily opening of the warehouse
📋Unloading, loading and receiving incoming freight
📋Loading flooring and misc. items for installers
📋Packing and inventorying skids of flooring and adjacent items
📋Organizing the warehouse for efficient day-to-day operations
📋 Maintaining overall cleanliness of the warehouse
📋Keeping and controlling stock items inventories
📋Running the forklift (Training and Certification will be provided )
📋Stacking skids of flooring
📋Shelving rolls of carpet
📋Cutting carpet and other misc. materials to length
📋Assisting with setup and takedown of displays on the the sales floor
Requirements
✅OSSD ( Ontario Secondary School Diploma)
✅Basic computer skills
✅No experience necessary - though it would be an asset
✅Some heavy lifting will be required
✅G drivers license
Minimum 30 hrs / week
Monday - Friday - 7:00 am - completion of tasks
$20 - $25 / hr
