Finally, a BMW head unit that doesn't feel outdated 🙌 Got my hands on a prototype of a modded CD43 with Bluetooth built right in + RCA out, still looks completely stock. Not available yet, but hopefully soon. Full video up now, link in bio.

After the rear subframe, the factory speakers in a Z3 are the weakest part of the car.

Here's the tweeter and kick panel fix, start to finish.

Audison AP tweeters, Helix Ci3 in the kick panels, mounted on brackets I make specifically for this platform. Bolts to factory locations, no drilling, no panel mods. Old vs new comparison at the end.

Works the same on M Roadsters.

Aging plastic plagues these cars, including the headlight k**b cap that keeps falling off. This one is made from aluminum and it screws on, so it stays put.

Swipe to the last photo… because the current owner of the Estoril Blue Z3 M roadster didn’t just keep it clean, they gave this the best sound system it’s ever had. Period. This little roadster has never sounded this good.
