In order to optimize the quality of the pistons, we have decided in the year 2016, to relocate the complete production from external suppliers to in-house-production. - In-house engineered die-casting with comparable strength as forged pistons (improved and reliability, reduced wear of the the engine, high-end quality)
- High Quality Aluminum Alloy (optimized weight, improved thermic characteristic)
- In-house engineered 3D-TPC-coating for Nikasil®-cylinders and as well inhouse engineered 3D-TPC-coating for casted cylinders (reduced abrasion and wear, reduced friction resistance)
- Special in-house engineered geometry (improved response of the engine, reduced wear)
- Optimized hole for piston-pin to ensure improved greasing and power-transmission (improved characteristics of the engine, improved greasing)
- High-quality pistonrings (improved compression)
- High-quality nitrated piston-pins (improved wear characteristics)
