The details of the Essence 39 reveal themselves layer by layer.
Every horizontal groove across the dial is individually CNC-milled, creating precisely defined lines that change in appearance as the light moves across the surface.
The beveled date window at 6 o’clock has become a signature finishing detail across the Formex collections. Rather than leaving the aperture as a simple cutout, its edge is machined into a crisp, consistent bevel. This catches the light, gives the opening greater depth and frames the color-matched date wheel without interrupting the dial design.
The faceted hands, hand-applied indices and applied Formex logo continue the same attention to detail, combining vertically brushed surfaces with mirror-polished bevels. Each finish reflects light differently as the wrist moves, improving both the visual depth and legibility of the dial.
Small details, but central to how the Essence is designed and manufactured.
