Ta da!!! This took me 9 years to very slow and very easy planning, obtaining, measuring, cutting and sewing to finish. The proud owner happens to be 16 this year. The blue were denim up cycled from our jeans. It is like a keepsake quilt. Hopefully this will keep the new owner warm, always. 😊

Messy table top at the moment. Quilting a nearly queen size on my domestic Janome work horse is not an easy feat! Slow and steady we go together. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Been a long time since I touched my sewing machine. This was suppose to be done few years back! 😆 finally put together and the backing too. Now to actually quilt it. Looking around for ideas.

Happy 2022 everyone! I know I am rather late here but it couldn't be helped. With all that is going on, sourdough bread making is a good idea to slow down, and be more patient with myself and with others. It's cheaper than a shrink and we get to eat bread! A win-win, which we don't get often. Please do remember, self care is very important. 😘😘😘
