Our company aims at providing especially handmade, high quality textile products to our customers who enjoy healthy lifestyles. Our main product is a very thin, traditional, handmade towel called

'Pestemal' produced for Turkish Hammam in historical times but later used in beaches, swimming pools and SPAs. These colourful thin towels, generally made of 100% cotton, are very absorbent, dry very quickly and take up less space than an ordinary towel. Hammal Sagl focuses on importation of these healthy products manufactured at special stations by the craft workers in small villages in Turkey to Switzerland where handmade is appreciated. The word Hammal means 'The Carrier' in many oriental languages. The company name Hammal can also be seen as a combination of the words 'Hammam' and 'Pestemal'. As a summary, the brand focuses on carrying special products from local manufacturers to global customers who appreciate the difference, the beauty and the quality.
