A reliable ring fixture is the foundation for comfortable, controlled and precise work in stone setting and engraving.
Designed by professional stone setter Alexander Sidorov, the “Alexander” Ring Fixture is based on many years of hands-on experience in working with rings and teaching advanced stone setting techniques.
Mounted directly onto the GRS MicroBlock®, it allows the ring to be positioned flexibly, giving you easy access to different areas of the piece throughout the setting or engraving process.
Interchangeable drawbars and expanding mandrels accommodate rings of different widths and help secure each piece firmly and reliably.

The right texture starts with the right tool.

The Fretz “Raw Silk” Texturing Hammer features randomly ground heads that create an uneven, organic surface inspired by the appearance of raw silk.
A similar texture can be produced with a rolling mill on flat metal. The advantage of the hammer is that it also works on formed and three-dimensional pieces, where rolling is no longer possible.
