We're pleased to share the release of “Harmattan”, a new photobook born from the first edition of the festival held in Lomé in December 2025 and later presented at focus Artphilein in 2026. 🦋

Bringing together the works of Togolese and international artists, the book reflects the narrative and visionary force of contemporary African photography through images rooted in lived experience, ancestral memory, tradition, and transformation.

Named after the dry seasonal wind that crosses West Africa, Harmattan evokes a shift in perception-when light changes, horizons blur, and the familiar appears
newly transformed.
