As GNG celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, it feels like the perfect time to revisit one of the instruments that marked the journey.

Here's the Morgoth XV Anniversary, created to celebrate GNG's 15th anniversary (2006 to 2021).

This one of a kind build features a figured one piece Italian poplar top, padauk neck, and ziricote fretboard, loaded with True Temperament multiscale frets, GNG Balrogs pickups, and Hipshot Solo bridges.

Built for the Boutique Guitar Showcase USA Tour 2021 and now living with its owner.

This Brea 6, created for the Japanese market, is one example of what's possible:

• HSS configuration with custom-tuned GNG pickups.
• Vine inlay handcrafted from natural stones, abalone, and mother-of-pearl.
• An exceptionally figured Italian poplar top.
• Finished in my Hi-gloss Valië pattern.

GNG Brea 6TTEV Dragon
This one combines two features that are still quite uncommon to see on the same instrument: True Temperament frets and an Evertune bridge.

Built for the chaser of the highest level of tuning stability and intonation accuracy, it features a selected lightweight alder body, flamed maple top, flamed roasted maple neck, Dragon headstock (no inlay on the body this time), and a Yin Yang fretboard.

In Lauterbrunnen, among the very landscapes that inspired some of Tolkien’s most iconic visions of Middle earth, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jamie Gale to discuss the journey behind my Two Towers Artpiece.

Our conversation explored Tolkien’s travels through Switzerland, the formative experiences of his life, the shadow cast by war, and how these influences ultimately emerged in the symbolism, narrative, and countless hidden details woven into the piece.

Following its debut at NAMM Show 2026 and ahead of the upcoming Boutique Guitar Showcase tours across the USA and Europe, Two Towers continues to reveal the story behind its creation, with another chapter now ready to be shared.

GNG Morgoth WG7 "RAGNAROK: GARM VS TYR"

Created for Wild Guitar Collection (Mexico), this Morgoth WG7 draws inspiration from the fateful clash between Garm, the wolf guardian of Helheim, and Tyr, the Norse god of war and law. As foretold in the prophecies of Ragnarok, the two meet in a final battle where neither survives.

Their destined duel is brought to life through a detailed ArtBoard inlay crafted from natural stones, mother of pearl, and other traditional inlay materials, capturing one of the most dramatic moments of Norse mythology directly within the instrument itself.

The build features a hollow korina body with the signature GNG Scar opening, a figured Italian poplar top, flamed maple neck, ebony fingerboard, rune inspired logo, custom engraved ebony k***s representing Garm and Tyr, and a matching engraved backplate. Completing the package are GNG custom wound Tyr & Garm pickups, Hipshot Solo bridges, and Schaller tuners.

The Shen project began in 2011, with the first instrument completed in 2013. Through years of customer feedback, experimentation, and continuous refinement, the design has evolved into its fourth generation.

This freshly completed Version 4 incorporates a few improvements inspired by the input of customer Ken K.:

• Extended body lip behind the bridge tuners, allowing the instrument to rest comfortably on the leg without contact with the hardware.

• Relocated dual output jacks, now positioned on the side of the body for improved accessibility and cable management.
