Kumesu a pour mission de révolutionner l'industrie du cuir de luxe. Notre objectif est de placer le made in Africa comme une nouvelle référence en matière de luxe et, espérons-le, d'inspirer d'autres à suivre. Fondée en 2015, Kumesu est une marque africaine de sacs à main de luxe basée au Nigeria, la capitale africaine de l'industrie du cuir. Enfant-cerveau de Betu Kumesu, sa marque éponyme répond au désir des femmes d'une ligne intemporelle et élégante de sacs à main à l'esprit luxe. La fondatrice et directrice créative de la marque Betu Kumesu a découvert la richesse inexploitée de l'industrie du cuir nigériane et comment elle approvisionne les marques de mode les plus luxueuses du monde entier, lorsqu'elle a déménagé à Lagos avec son mari. Chaque année, certaines des meilleures maisons de couture françaises et italiennes se débarrassent de leur cuir inutilisé, dont une partie est renvoyée au Nigeria.
