20 years of the FREITAG Flagship Store. 2 days of music, custom charms and endless good vibes in Zurich‘s smallest skyscraper.
Thank you to everyone who showed up to craft, dance and celebrate two decades of our rusty container with us.
The music is off, the dust is settling, but the tower isn‘t going anywhere. Here‘s to the next 20 years!

In 2006, our tower was meant to be a temporary setup.

A gravel lot, a crane, and 17 used freight containers stacked next to the train tracks. Two decades later, the interim solution is still standing and has even grown.

At our exhibition starting Friday, explore 33 years of FREITAG history - including the building of our permanent interim.

On September 4, we mark two decades of Zurich’s smallest skyscraper with live sound and local frequency.

20 years of transforming rusty shipping containers into nightclubs, a supermarket, and a testing ground for broad ideas.
Since 2006, our tower has never been just a retail space. It has been a permanently temporary monument, a noise box, and a playground for collaborative experiments.

On September 4 & 5, we’re taking it to the next level: a history exhibition in the upper containers, screen-printing bike, DIY keychains, DJs and a surprise live act.

Consider everything before this just the warmup.

20 years of stacked shipping containers, heavy traffic, and local sound.
We think and act in cycles since 1993. In 2006, we piled up rusty freight containers at Geroldstrasse 17 to build Zurich’s smallest skyscraper. 20 years later, our tower is still standing as a permanent-temporary monument to thinking and acting in cycles.

We’re celebrating two decades of our Store with a history exhibition, DJs, a live music act, screen-printing bike and DIY keychains.
