🐔 Chicken House Construction Requirements – Civil Works

Before installing our automatic poultry equipment, please ensure the following civil works meet these basic standards:

📍 Floor
• Levelness: max 5 cm deviation

• Concrete thickness: ≥ 100 mm

📍 Manure Trenches (inside the house)
• Width: min 1.0 m (recommended 1.2 m)

• Depth: 1.0 m

👉 Subject to construction drawings

📍 Fan Openings
• Size: 1400 mm × 1400 mm

👉 Subject to construction drawings

📍 Cooling Pad Wall & Water Tank
• Cooling pads: externally mounted

• Circulation tank width: 0.8–1.0 m

• Circulation tank depth: 1.0 m

🔧 Construction Update – Phased Installation

Our poultry farm is being built and installed house by house. The feed silos aren't linked together yet, so for now we're using a feed truck to deliver feed directly to each house individually. 🚛🐔

Not everything needs to be fully connected before getting started — sometimes you just adapt and keep moving forward. 💪

Since there are double staircases at both the front and rear ends, we've reserved extra aisle space at both ends of the house for smooth access.

🌡️ Why Poultry House Environmental Control Matters More Than You Think

Proper environmental control in a poultry house isn't just about comfort — it's about profitability, bird health, and egg/meat quality.

Here's what every farmer should monitor:

🔹 Temperature
• Day-old chicks: 32–35°C

• Adult layers: 18–24°C

• Broilers: 20–28°C (adjust by age)

🔹 Humidity
• Ideal range: 50–65%

• Too high → ammonia buildup, disease risk

• Too low → respiratory issues, dehydration

🔹 Ventilation
• Minimum ventilation: removes moisture & gases

• Tunnel ventilation: cools birds in hot weather

• Air speed matters: 1.5–2.6 m/s for adults

🔹 Ammonia Level
• Keep below 10 ppm

• Above 25 ppm → eye damage, respiratory illness, lower feed intake

🔹 Lighting Program
• Layers: 16 hours light / 8 hours dark (consistent!)

• Broilers: gradual reduction to encourage feeding
