How to read motor model of some Chinese Factory
YDK / YSK series
Y = 异步电机 （Reads: Yibu Dianji）= Asynchronous motor
D = 单轴（Reads: Danzhou） = Single Shaft
S = 双轴 （Reads: Shuangzhou） = Double Shaft
K = 空调系统 （Reads: Kuangtiao XiTong）= Air Conditioner System or some special usage (For example: Air cooler, Water pump, FCU system, Centrifugal Fan, Central air conditioner sysyem, Heat pump, Fresh air system etc.)
YDK139-550-4
YDK means it’s a Single Shaft Asynchronous Motor for Air conditioner system or other application.
139 means the diameter of stator. If iron housing thickness 2mm. The motor diameter is 143mm.
550 means motor power is 550W. Others same, higher power, higher price.
4 means 4 pole. Others same, more poles, slower speed(The Max speed this motor can reach). Usually more poles needs more copper, so price higher.
YSK110-75-6
YSK means it’s a Double Shaft Asynchronous Motor. Usually it will be a FCU (Fan coil Unit) motor. Sometimes, it stands for other double shaft motors for example RV AC Motor.
110 means stator diameter is 110mm. If use 1.5mm thick iron housing, the motor diameter is 113mm.
75 means motor power 75W
6 means it’s a 6 pole motor
YSF Series:
Y = 异步电机 （Reads: Yibu Dianji）Asynchronous motor
S = 三相 （Reads: Sanxiang）= Three Phase
F = 风机（Reads: Fengji）= Fan (Especially for Centrifugal Fan and Axial Fan etc.)

YSF means it’s a 3 phase Asynchronous Motor For Fan
370 means power is 370W.
6 means 6 pole
