We are happy to share a good news with all of my friends. SEJOY has achieved the CE self testing certificate for COVID-19 with saliva specimen. SEJOY already achieved the nasal sampling self testing certificate in last October. Now our customers will be able to choose saliva or nasal sampling based on their need. Congratulations!

Sejoy SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Saliva Lolly Test , successfully registered in Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods Certificate in early April. This is the first and only lolly test that has been approved for sale in the Australia. The lolly test is very easy to use, no buffer or re-agent is required, friendly for kids to use!

How to test your blood glucose by using a meter?
If you are testing your blood sugar at home, read and follow the directions that come with your blood sugar meter. For most meters, the general procedure goes like this:

1. With clean hands, place a test strip in your blood sugar meter.
2. Prick the side of a finger with the lancet to draw a drop of blood.
Place the tip of the test strip on the drop of blood.
3. After a few seconds, the blood sugar meter will give you a reading.
4. Compare your own blood sugar reading with the ranges below: 14

Normal blood sugar: Less than 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L ) after fasting overnight, and up to 140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L ) two hours after a meal
Prediabetes: Between 100-125 mg/dL (5.6-7.0 mmol/L) after fasting overnight
Diabetes: 126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L) or higher after fasting overnight, or higher than 200 mg/dL (11.1 mmol/L) at any time
Keep in mind that glucometer readings are not considered accurate enough to make a diagnosis of diabetes or prediabetes. If your blood sugar is high on a glucometer, ask your doctor to run a regular blood test to confirm the diagnosis. Also, keep in mind that a single abnormal blood sugar reading is not sufficient to secure a diagnosis of diabetes; at least two are needed.

Healthy Tips for Gestational Diabetes

1. Monitor glucose levels: Talk to your doctor about how often to measure blood sugar levels.

2. Eat small meals consistently through the day: Avoid the typical 3 large meals a day.

3. Healthy carb choices: Instead of refined, processed carbs, try to choose whole foods, whole grains fruits, and vegetables. Spread out your carb intake through the day. Try to aim for a diet without as many added sugars.

4. Exercise consistently: A good goal is to shoot for 30 minutes of moderate activity on most days. Exercising with even short 30-minute walks after meals can help significantly.

5. Talk to your doctor: Gestational diabetes can increase risk of developing Type 2 diabetes later in life, so keep your doctor posted, as half of women with gestational diabetes usually develop Type 2 diabetes.

6. Weight loss: If planning on pregnancy, losing excess weight beforehand can help with a healthier pregnancy. However, if already pregnant, confer with your doctor, as weight loss in pregnancy can be more dangerous.
