Working Principle of Steel Pipe Air tightness Test Equipment:
The working principle of the steel pipe Air tightness test equipment is primarily based on the pressure drop method. This involves filling the steel pipe with a certain pressure of gas and monitoring the change in gas pressure over a specified time interval to assess the sealing performance of the pipe. The specific steps are as follows:
Preparation Phase: First, the steel pipe to be tested is placed in a special test fixture, ensuring a tight connection between the pipe and the testing equipment with no leakage points. Then, gas is supplied to the pipe through the factory gas source or a booster pump, filling the pipe to a preset pressure.
Pressurization and Equilibrium: During the pressurization process, the gas gradually fills the steel pipe and is evenly distributed until the preset pressure is reached. At this point, the system enters an equilibrium state, where the gas pressure within the pipe remains relatively stable.
Detection Phase: During the set time interval, the system continuously monitors the internal pressure of the steel pipe using high-precision sensors. If there is a leak in the pipe, the internal gas will gradually escape to the external environment, causing a drop in pressure.
Data Analysis and Judgment: Based on the gas state equation, the system calculates the pressure drop over the specified time period and compares it to the preset leakage standard. If the pressure drop is within the acceptable range, the pipe is considered to have passed the leak test; otherwise, it is deemed unqualified. ❤️
