Pavones surf shop is located in Pilon by the crossroads, here we rent and sell Epoxy surfboards custom made by Randy Walker, we repair surfboards too

We have new and used boards for sale and full line of rental boards ,leashes and tracks from stay covered, F.C.S. and Future fins and t-shirts with our surf shop logo and also the Randy Walker surfboard logo. Process of surfboards:
This E.P.S. foam is made here in Costa Rica. The foam is poured into blocks which are cut with a hot wire to the specified dimension and rocker. All scraps are then sent back to the factory to be recycled to make more boards. Stringers are milled from clear Pine which strength to weight ratio is far stronger than bass wood which is traditionally used in surfboards. Pine has excellent flex characteristics, the boards are glassed with normal fiberglass cloth, but using Epoxy resin. These boards are fiber glass, Epoxy fiber glass; don’t confuse this construction with sandwich boards These boards are extreme high performance and are 100% handmade.

LONGBOARD FIN POSITION MATTERS

Forward: looser and more maneuverable.
Center: balanced drive, stability, and turning.
Back: more hold, control, and drive.

Small adjustments can make a big difference in how your longboard feels under your feet.
