A friend is managing a beautiful new vacation rental in Atenas. It has three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, outdoor spaces, a pool, fully furnished and awesome views. Taffy McMahan has been helping keep the community informed on many topics and I wanted to send out a big "Thanks" to her for her role in keeping the Coconut Telegraph going! Here's the latest news:

Another important piece of good news for Zancudo. The clinic is now useable though more construction needs are necessary which the local committee is working on with the municipal. When they get the additional materials needed there will be a great need for assistance in construction and additional cost help.
However, the clinic now has visiting staff one day every two weeks under the current schedule.
One of the gringos volunteering at the clinic is Michael. Many of you have met Michael and have benefitted from his medical assistance. He has great needs for many small inexpensive but continually consumed medial items. He asks that when any of you come from out of the country into Zancudo to please bring any items that you can on the list below. Also, when anyone goes to Paseo Canoas or Golfito or Neilly or San Jose to please pick up any of the items off of the list. He and Jessica live in Sarah Parker’s house out on point. You can deliver items there or to Elena at Buena Mar. Michael’s phone numbers are: 2776-0119 and cell 8339-5799.
