Academic & General Bookshop Cyprus This is the official Facebook of the Academic & General Bookshop in Larnaca, Cyprus.

The bookshop was launched in 1976 and has always been owned and operated by our family, with other friends being adopted into our family over the years. This has given us the opportunity to grow a bookshop with a legacy of readers who are passionate books and curate what we have available on our shelves. All of us speak fluent Greek and English and will happily accommodate any request. We focus entirely on books, both general and academic, in all subjects, and import our own stock every 2 weeks, allowing us to quickly serve the needs of our customers, libraries, universities, institutes, and other businesses swiftly, efficiently, and professionally. Ermou Street is finally (mostly) open again! From today, you can enter Ermou street from Acropolis lights on Gregori Afxentiou street. You can find parking spaces available along the road, but also larger parking areas as indicated on the map here.

We know we've been overstuffed with books (the way we like it!), but we've made some changes! Brighter, spacier, tidier, with passageways big enough to fit a pram all the way down to the children's section. We know it's been a long time coming, but we're finally found a way to give the appropriate space and respect to some of our sections which needed it. Come check it out, before we stuff books in every nook and cranny again.
