Museum gift shops are the best part of a museum visit, are they not?!

This is the Musée de l’Orangerie gift shop book selection with many options for kids and adults alike!

To be fair, the oval rooms with Monet’s water lilies are better than the gift shop, and so is their family room - a place for kids 0-12 and their families to rest, play, create and recharge, especially during a hot summer day!

Thalia/Mayersche in Köln at Neumarkt probably has the most places to sit inside a bookshop per square meter, and you can tell that every detail inside has been meticulously planned 📚🧐
