Our latest release, The Old Man of Hoy. Bottled at cask strength (60.7%) It spent nearly half of its life in a 1st fill Clarendon Rum cask that we had bottled, so not an empty cask purchased through a third party, therefore assuring Blackadder quality. We have other new releases being bottled in September!

There's sediment in the bottle. That's on purpose.

Raw Cask means Blackadder International pulls straight from the cask and bottles it. No chill filtration. No coloring. No filtering out the little bits of char and oak that come along with it.

Most producers strip that out because it looks cleaner on a shelf. Robin Tucek started Blackadder in 1995 on the argument that it belongs in the glass.

Blackadder is back in America.

No Blackadder import has reached the US in over two years. That ends today, a day early, because I couldn't wait.

The first independent bottler I ever tried, at a bar years before The Whiskey Lab existed, is now mine to bring back. 18 releases went live this morning: Raw Cask Scotch at full strength with the sediment left in on purpose, Dutch and Japanese single malts, and my first gin, vodka, and rum ever. Five of these bottles are the last of their kind in the country. Three of them are in this photo.
