Tento kimono kostým je vyroben ze 100% přírodního hedvábí adras (ikat).
S touto látkou je radost pracovat: neklouže, ale vyžaduje trochu více času na střih, aby vzor dokonale ladil. 🙌🏼.
Před šitím jsem Ikat ručně vyprala ve studené vodě (do 30 stupňů). Látka si zachovala svou barvu, změkla a odhalila své nejlepší vlastnosti.

This kimono suit is made from Adras (Ikat) fabric, 100% natural silk.
This fabric is a pleasure to work with:: it doesn’t slip and fray excessively, but it does require a bit more time for cutting to ensure the pattern aligns perfectly. 🙌🏼

Before sewing, I carefully washed Ikat by hand in cool water (up to 30 degrees). The fabric retained its colour and became even softer, revealing its best qualities.

This fabric is easy to work with even for beginners.✂️🪡

1. the height of the person and the size of the future product
2. fabric width
3. fabric composition (natural fabrics have shrinkage, especially wool)
3. the style of clothing (for example, flounces or ruffles increase fabric consumption by 50-100 cm).
4. the presence of a pattern on the fabric (for example, plaid fabric requires combining details, thereby increasing the consumption of materials).
