Queens, New York is the most ethnically diverse urban area in the world. It’s world-renowned for its many Greek, Chinese, Korean & Indian restaurants. However, hop on the subway and within minutes, you can get anything from Colombian, Salvadoran & Trini to Nepalese, Malaysian & Filipino. When QK owner Adam moved from Queens to Prague, he was enamored by the rich beer culture the city has to offer.

However, he was left wanting more when it came to comforting food that goes well with beer. The food of Japanese izakayas and Korean anju are just two examples of cuisines specifically intended to drink alongside. Our desire to introduce our cultures + experiment with international cuisines led to the birth of Queens Kitchen. We mainly serve at Tonkin Kafe, but we’re also available for food festivals, private catering, and other events. We’re pleased to have found a home in Prague and can’t wait for you to taste our creations.

Thank you for the Taiwanese cooking class! Any future visitors of Taipei - i highly recommend hitting her up. Always nice to learn what goes into some of the local favorites. Get her cookbook too!

Tomorrow’s the big day 🍚🍹🥥🍪

Bad Bunny flew in to Prague to shoot a campaign for our Lu Rou Fan (the ultimate Taiwanese comfort dish of braised pork belly over rice) and Coquito (the classic Puerto Rican coconut rum cocktail). He was dancing on Charles Bridge with a bowl in his left and a glass on his right. It was cinematic.

But we have an update - I celebrated with a few too many Coquito and accidentally deleted all the footage…

All we’re left with is this poster for our event. You’ll just have to trust how epic it was.

What I can prove is that this Saturday, 15:30–20:00 .knizni.dira , we’ll be serving as part of — alongside our friends at .press

🍚 Lu Rou Fan — Taiwanese braised pork belly over rice.
🌿 Lu Doufu Fan — The tofu version. Just as good, crispy tofu, no pork.
🥥 Coquito — Classic Puerto Rican coconut rum cocktail. Delicious. Dangerous.
🍪 My momma’s Almond Joy Cookies — A consistent crowdpleaser.
