🇬🇧 VFC MCX Virtus. A beautiful piece of metal, notoriously known for its wobbly outer barrel and a few other minor shortcomings. This MCX came to us after a Cerakote coating for precise setup and fine-tuning — and to achieve the most authentic shooting feel possible 🙂

🇨🇿 HK416, s ražením SA Prime :) Je to príma zbraň? V základu toho určitě nabídne hodně, ale další upgrade to určitě uvítá. Lepší vzduchotechniku s eliminací midcap syndromu. Bylo potřeba perfektně vypodložit především motorové kolo vůči pastorku a lépe promazat. Především při použití bezuhlíkového motoru je OPRAVDU potřeba použít ložiska kluzná (my používáme s drážkami pro menší tření, mrkni na web), jinak jsou do pár tisíců ran tovární kuličková ložiska KO (ale prý v novější verzi už kluzná ložiska budou, jsme tak slyšeli :)

ℹ️ perfektní přepodložení, promazání (hladší, tišší chod, delší životnost dílů)

🇬🇧 HK416 with SA Prime branding :) Is it a good gun?
In its stock form it definitely offers a lot, but it will certainly benefit from further upgrades. Better air system with elimination of the midcap syndrome. It was necessary to shim perfectly, especially the motor gear in relation to the pinion, and to lubricate it better. Especially when using a brushless motor, it is REALLY necessary to use bushings (we use ones with grooves for lower friction—check our website), otherwise the factory ball bearings are done after a few thousand shots (though we’ve heard that newer versions should already come with bushings)

🇨🇿 Taková rádoby Masada. Parádně zpracovaný kousek od ICS, konkrétně CXP-APE SES3, tedy blowback verze s továrními upgrade vnitřnostmi. A vůbec, vždycky ceníme, když k nám přijde něco jinýho než ARko, aneb em čtyřka, co je pěkně zpracované.

A kvalita vnitřních dílů vůbec není špatná. Samozřejmě továrna musí chrlit kvér jeden za druhým a tak se mouchy vždycky najdou. Za nás to jsou detaily, které ale dohromady dají opravdu dobře sestrojený kvér. Špatné vypodložení doladěné, vzduchotechnika po servisu těsnící opravdu na 100% spolu s vystředěnou osou. A ten výkon pak vyroste z 1.4J na 1.8J (bez hop upu) bez nutnosti výměny pružiny :)

🇬🇧 A kind of wannabe Masada. A beautifully made piece from ICS, specifically the CXP-APE SES3, i.e. the blowback version with factory-upgraded internals. And in general, we always appreciate it when something other than an AR, aka an M4, comes our way—especially when it’s this well made.

The quality of the internal parts is not bad at all. Of course, the factory has to churn out guns one after another, so minor flaws are always to be found. From our point of view, these are details which, taken together and done right, result in a really well-built gun. Poor shimming has been fine-tuned, the air system after servicing seals at a 100% together with a properly aligned nozzle agains the hop up chamber. And then the performance grows from 1.4 J to 1.8 J (without hop-up applied) without the need to change the spring :)

🇨🇿 Tak jsme přivítali do naší zbrojnice jednu novinku - licencovanou repliku B&T APC556 od Double Eagle. Kvalita těla 🔝. Kromě lehce atypické komory (dá se vyřešit) je to DE V2 mech jak ho známe. Tudíž přišel na řadu bez větších obtíží full upgrade.

🇬🇧So we welcomed a new addition to our armory – a licensed replica of the B&T APC556 from Double Eagle. Body quality 🔝. Apart from a slightly atypical hop-up chamber (which can be sorted out), it’s the DE V2 gearbox as we know it. So a full upgrade came next without any major issues.

🇬🇧 Almost legendary VFC MP7. A little beast that kicks like crazy :)
It arrived to us non-functional, so we had to PUNGed this classic back to it’s glory ;)
👉 repair of the trigger arm, replacement of the trigger-mechanism springs, tuning of the cycle
👉 fine-tuned to 1.7 J with 0.4 g BBs in a hopped-up state (green gas & 24 °C)
👉 installation of a new hop-up bucking, custom modification of the hop-up system for shooting heavier BBs

If you’re thinking about an SMG, these days we’d choose noticeably more modern designs (disassembling an MP7 takes patience), for example the VFC MD9, Maruyama SCW/SPC, or MP9.

🇨🇿 Skoro legendární MP7 od VFC. Malá mrška, která kope jak blázen :) K nám se dostala nefunkční, takže bylo potřeba tuhle klasiku z PUNGnout ;)

👉 oprava ramínka spouště, nahrazení pružinek spouštěcího mechanismu, vyladění cyklu
👉 vytunění na 1.7J s kuličkami o váze 0.4g v nahopovaném stavu (green gas & 24°C)
👉 instalace nové hop up gumičky, úprava hop up systému pro střelbu s těžšími kuličkami

Pokud uvažujete o SMG, v téhle době byhcom volili znatelně modernější konstrukce (rozebírat MP7 vyžaduje trpělivost), například VFC MD9, Maruyama SCW-9 nebo MP9

🇬🇧 If there were a competition for the best-made replica, our favorite would definitely be the MCX from , which we got our hands on thanks to a collaboration with . Everything fits together beautifully, and the markings are truly stunning. What really stands out is the trigger – it’s wonderfully crisp, almost like on a real firearm – truly incomparable to other replicas built on the MWS system.

The rest is a bit of a DIY job, Ikea-style – you need to source a stock (we chose the 5KU MCX, which fits nicely on the 1913 rail, and at least gives you some flexibility :). You also need to buy a barrel (standard GBBR) and a hop-up bucking (with nub) – a good combo is, for example, the ML 250mm barrel and our favorite X-Range 70 from Modify.

All in all, with a slight nozzle valve adjustment, it gives a solid 1.8J on green gas at 20°C. The only real downside – the hop-up chamber design is similar to other MWS models, where the barrel is held in place only by an O-ring... Otherwise, even the internals are truly beautiful :)

🇨🇿 Pokud by zde byla soutěž o nejlépe zpracovanou repliku, určitě by naším favoritem bylo MCX od Toxicant Airsoft, které se k nám dostalo ve spolupráci s . Všechno krásně lícuje a ražení je opravdu nádherné. Co musíme vyzdvihnout – spoušť je krásně čistá, skoro by člověk řekl jako na ostré zbrani – oproti jiným replikám postaveným na MWS systému opravdu neporovnatelné.

Zbytek je trošku DYI alá Ikea – je nutné sehnat pažbu (zvolili jsme 5KU MCX, která pěkně padne na 1913 rail, aspoň má člověk možnost volby :). Je potřeba zakoupit (standardní GBBR) hlaveň a hop up gumičku (s přítlakem), dobře funguje kombinace například ML 250mm hlavně a naše oblíbená gumka X-Range od Modify.

Suma sumárum – s úpravou klapky trysky dává na green gasu při 20 stupních solidních 1.8J. Snad jediná výtka – komora je konstrukčně podobná jiným MWS - hlaveň drží pouze o kroužek... Jinak i ten vnitřek je opravdu nádhera :)

🇬🇧 And we’ve got another build here, this time from the very ground up. UNlicensed E&C body, with full HK416A5 markings, handguard, and copies of the Magpul MOE stock and pistol grip. How does it look? For us 🔝💯.

The internals are, of course, a total upgrade using the best parts plus custom modifications. The only drawback — the body’s positions for the fire selector are slightly off from where they should be, so we had to do some filing and it doesn’t operate quite as smoothly. The body also lacks a quick-change spring. But how it looks as a whole... all is forgiven!

🇨🇿 A mámě tu další stavbu, tentokrát od úplného základu. NElicencované tělo E&C, s ražením HK416A5, předpažbí, kopie Magpul MOE pažby a pažbičky. Jak to vypadá? Za nás 🔝💯. Vnitřek je samozřejmě totální upgrade z těch nejlepších dílů plus custom úpravy. Jediný neduh – tělo má pozice pro přepínače střelby lehce jinde, než by mělo, a proto jsme museli přistoupit k vybrušování a nefunguje tak plynule. A tělu chybí rychlovýměna pružiny. Ale jak to vypadá jako celek... Vše je odpuštěno!
