Collaboration is key to tackling the challenges of our time. 🌍
This year, the F20 Climate Solutions Forum brought foundations and philanthropic organizations from around the world together at the Otto Group Campus – with a second F20 Forum to follow in Washington, D.C. later this month.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Michael Otto highlighted what international cooperation ultimately depends on: trust, personal encounters and continuous dialogue – especially when political circumstances become challenging.

Under the theme “Relationships. Resilience. Results.”, discussions focused on one central question: How can we turn existing climate solutions into action and scale what already works?

Because many of the technologies and approaches we need are already there. Now, it’s about implementation – creating the right conditions, strengthening partnerships and moving from dialogue to real impact.

How can Europe strengthen its competitiveness while staying on course for climate action? 🇪🇺🌱

Yesterday, Prof. Dr. Michael Otto, joined Sabine Nallinger and a CEO delegation from Stiftung KlimaWirtschaft in Brussels.

Their message was clear: Decarbonization and competitiveness must go hand in hand. Together, they are key to modernizing Germany and Europe as strong and future-ready business locations.

In discussions with European Commissioners Valdis Dombrovskis, Stéphane Séjourné and Wopke Hoekstra, as well as MEPs Christian Ehler and Peter Liese, the delegation focused on what businesses need to drive this transformation: reliable conditions for investment, a competitive and resilient industrial base, and faster progress towards a decarbonized economy.

Because one thing is clear: Successfully navigating this transformation requires close dialogue between policymakers and businesses and solutions that bring together economic strength, resilience and climate action. 🌍

Three days of opening celebrations and a new neighbor for the Otto Group. 💛
HAMBURG has officially opened its doors right next to our headquarters in Hamburg-Bramfeld.
Founded by and Benjamin Otto, the non-profit campus brings together education, creativity, movement, nature, culture and community – creating a place for lifelong learning and connection across generations.

Following a pre-opening with around 300 guests from politics, business, science and culture, more than 6,000 people explored the campus during the public opening weekend.

A new place to learn, connect and create – right in our neighborhood. Welcome, LIFE HAMBURG!

On Saturday, Hamburg once again became a place of visibility, solidarity and togetherness.
For the tenth year in a row, the Otto Group supported Hamburg Pride. Together with , who joined the parade as an official partner with its own truck under the motto „Mut steht dir gut“ („Courage looks good on you“), we stood alongside thousands of people raising their voices for diversity, inclusion and equal rights.

Because Pride is more than a celebration. It is a demonstration for a society in which everyone can live openly, safely and authentically free from discrimination.
