We were looking for a Kenyan coffee that offers more than acidity alone. Red Kegwa brings fruit, sweetness snd structure together into one complete cup of filtercoffee.

It combines red currant and blood orange with floral notes of hibiscus, vibrant acidity but clean sweetness.

Together with Orang Utan Coffee we visited the Hulling Station Sukarame of Zul on Sumatra, within the hulling process, you want to achieve the removal of the protective outer layer of the coffee, such as papery parchment skin. It transforms unhusked seeds into clean green coffee beans ready for the next step: sorting.
