🥁Delighted to have some very exciting releases for our Art and Music shelves, especially Gianmarco Del Re‘s ‘Ukrainian Field Notes’ by , which explores how sound and listening reveal the human experience of war.

🖤 Personally super excited to finally get to read ‘SMALLTOWNNOVELLA’, a q***r cult classic published in 1980 in West Germany, now brought to English readers for the first time through Lucy Jones’ translation. Thank you, ! With an afterword by , who we are soo excited to welcome to our store this upcoming week.

🔮 Very thrilled for new fiction in translation by Irene Solà! ‘I Gave You Eyes and You Looked Toward Darkness’ blends myth, Catalan history and folklore, magical realism and horror.

🏙️ Personally can’t wait to get started on rediscovered 70’s cult classic ‘Speedboat’, by Renata Adler. Through disconnected flashes of perception and fragmentary prose, fictional journalist Jen Fain explores life in 1970’s New York City.

🎬 As biiiig fans of Akira Kurosawa, we’re super excited for ‘Long Take’, an assemblage of the iconic filmmaker’s writings and interviews, now available in English for the first time.
