The architects and constructors of t he Great Mosque in the Wiener Straße of Berlin Kreuzberg wanted the most impressive and best stones from all over the world. In order to materialze this objective, Mr Savas Yildiz was chosen to travel all over the world to find the most beautiful stones. This search led Mr. Yildiz to the North- and Southamerican continent as well as to Europe and Asia. In the process he was able to get in contact wi th the respective people dealing with the production, processing and sale of the natural stones, like sand stone, granite,marble, and others. For the construction oft he Great Mosque a total of 7,000 square meters of natural stones were needed. Ultimately, they were supplied from India, Egypt, Iran, Spain, Greece, and China. In the course of some years, Mr. Yildiz was able to establish a net of precious contacts all over the world, which he decided to use as a foundation for his own business after he – as it were – fulfilled his mission to bring splendid natural stones to Berlin at reasonable prices. Thus, in 2008 he took a young business-man, Timo Lourenco da Silva into his boat who was a member oft he brotherhood of the Great Mosque and the two men founded the Da Silva Stones Company. In the meantime the enterprise was able to expand to such an extent as to run branches in China (Xiamen)m Turkey (Istanbul) and Berlin (Germany) with a total monthly turn-over of approx. 60 to 80 containers. So far, mostly stone and construction companies were supplied. Since 2012 we have envisioned to supply end users with exclusive and high-quality materials at reasonable prices. Our programme includes individual special wishes as to design and quality. Our business concept is based on traditional values, like seriosity, trustworthyness, and confidence. We try to organise the sales process as transparent as possible to the customer. Our premium products from all over the world are designed to transform outdoor and indoor regions to a new esthetic level. In order to fulfil this challenge, we produce ourselves stainless-steel and aluminum mosaic, which in this exclusivity is available nowhere else. Another product that can only be supplied by us and nowhere else in Germany is the tile „Travertine Classic“, which is filled with transparent material instead of cement. Thus, the product displays the beauty of a natural stone. For sanitaires we have luxury designs, with high-class fabrication and also exclusive special carvings on it which will meet with highest individual demands.
