I can’t keep the word province in my mind 🙈
I am using the bark of the günlük ağacı here - Oriental sweetgum or Liquidambar orientalis grows only in the Muğla province. It creates a sweet, balsamic fragrance.

Exactly one year ago we hosted our first Ruglet Bazar at Wild Heart Free Soul.
So many good memories from that week.. and our golden disco ball is still turning its magic in our entrance.
Thank you to everyone who brought their love, energy and support to make it all happen. It wouldn’t have been the same without you.

“We already can’t imagine our home without the rug.”

This was one of the first things Markus wrote to me after the kilim had settled into its beautiful new home.

I smiled, because this is exactly what I hope for every piece that leaves Wild Heart Free Soul.

A kilim isn’t just there to decorate a room. It becomes the place where a family gathers. Where children play, friends come together, coffee is shared, books are read, and quiet evenings unfold.

Vintage Anatolian kilims have already lived many lives. They have witnessed generations before us, and now they become part of a new story.

Thank you, Markus and family, for giving this beautiful piece a new chapter. 🤍
