Custom-made roll-top backpack made of mud green waxed cotton, combined with my homemade fabric.
I haven’t sewn a backpack in a long time, so it wasn’t easy to get started, but it was fun to finish it. I hope I’ll find time to sew another one soon!

This is the third of the French vintage fabrics I recently found. It was printed in France in the 70s, but it’s clearly inspired by African wax print patterns.

The lightweight cotton was perfect for making this shirt, which I paired with a symmetrically cut five-panel cap.

I recently found three genuine French vintage fabrics from the 1970s and turned them into a small series of caps, top hats, and even a shirt — rich in pattern, color, and history. From ornamental interiors to wax-print–inspired graphics, each fabric carries its own rhythm and patina. Reworked into one-of-a-kind pieces, they bring the spirit of the era straight into the present.

ballcap made from upcycled colorful cotton sourced from old GDR tents. Bold krusty patch on the front, finished with colorful threads and cowpattern and yellow fake fur brim - and of course all seams lined with trademark bias tape. - sold.
