This was a special one for us.

For the first time, we photographed our new canopies on our own land in Kashmir — the very place where our new life is taking shape.

Seeing them there, in soft afternoon sun, surrounded by nature, felt deeply right. These canopies are made by our hands, here in Kashmir, and now we photographed them here too— not in a rented space, but on our own piece of land, with our own vision around them.

It felt like the beginning of a new chapter for The Shanti Home.

We cannot wait to show you more from this shoot....soon!

We Have Big News to Share

Dear friends, we’ve kept this close until now: our family is moving back to Kashmir. It’s the place where so much of our work and inspiration comes from, and where we’ll continue to create and grow together with the artisans we love.

This also means we are giving up our storage and home in Germany. Before we leave, we want to send as much color as possible out into the world.

Huge Moving Sale: Up to 40% OFF across the shop
Special Gift: Every order with code SHANTIFRIENDS25 will include a free hand-embroidered Kashmiri pillow, added to your parcel as our thank you.

By shopping with us now, you’re not only helping us hugely to make this transition lighter, you’re also joining us in carrying Kashmiri craft into its new chapter.

Shop today, save big, and be part of this journey with us.

With love and gratitude,
Jo & Fayaz
