Point-7 New SBT Technology

Performance Day.

Can you improve a modern, latest-generation camber sail?

For example, the Patrik Race HA GEN2, one of the most powerful slalom foil sails with the latest developments?

Very difficult, but not impossible.

Here’s one way. We replaced the two center cambers with the carbon cambers from 118performance. The swap was easy. With an additional shim on the camber, it was perfect.

Advantages:
Weight saving, +/- 200g
Improved rotation, especially under high load
Stiffer profile
Higher pressure on the cambers is possible with speed sails

Der Shim ist stufenlos, das Foil kann so optimal abgestimmt werden. Verstellbar von 0° - 2.3°, benötigt werden hierzu nur 2 Shims, original 10 Shims und nur in 0.25° Schritten.
