Die Idee hinter Fulcrum: nicht einfach nur Aufprall abfangen, sondern die Energie des Schritts nach vorne lenken und für ein geschmeidigeres Abrollen sorgen. Heute kommt die Silhouette als Lifestyle-Sneaker zurück – mit ihrer ursprünglichen Running-DNA, Retro-Proportionen und Materialien wie Wildleder, Nylon und einem Fußbett mit Fußgewölbestütze.

To celebrate the reintroduction of the Fulcrum Star, KARHU blends vibrant 80s aesthetics with a conceptual edge to celebrate motion, optimism and the brand’s authentic running heritage. Inspired by the original Fulcrum propulsion system, the campaign embodies the youthful spirit of forward momentum through energetic, gravity-defying human compositions.
Bringing this vision to life, the campaign features creative Kristof West, alongside artist and musician Isa Zichterman (MS PALACE). Both represent a new generation of creative voices whose work moves effortlessly across music, fashion and visual culture, naturally reflecting the same forward-thinking mindset that inspired the Fulcrum Star.

Four decades after the birth of the Fulcrum Star, the original colourway returns as it first appeared: bold, vibrant and unapologetically optimistic. More than an archival release, it celebrates the unmistakable visual identity that introduced this silhouette to the world.
