15,000+ km on foot: From Poland to Santiago de Compostela, Across Japan’s 88-temple pilgrimage.
Dominika specializes in long-distance hiking and pilgrimage trails, with a particular passion for the Camino de Santiago. Her longest journey took her 4,600 km from Poland to Santiago on foot. For Dominika, the destination is only part of the story. It’s everything that happens along the way that makes the journey worth taking.

Ryan was always looking for the next challenge. Growing up, that meant hockey and football. When that path came to an end, he had to find a new one.That is how he started thru-hiking. One trail became two, two became seven continents. Suddenly, there was a whole new way to push further.

You don’t always choose where the path takes you, but you can choose to keep going.

Meet Ryan “Bubbles/Bubs” Hosegood.

10,000km: PCT, Te Araroa, Fishermen’s Trail, Wolf Trail all a part of his current 7on7 project. Ryan found long-distance hiking after competitive sports were no longer an option. What started with a sunrise hike to the tallest peak in the contiguous United States: Mount Whitney; turned into the completion of the Pacific Crest Trail, and a goal to tackle long treks on all 7 continents.

2027 hopefully brings an arctic expedition, traversing the length of Nepal on the GHT and becoming the 3rd Canadian ever to complete the 1,100km Hercules Inlet to South Pole route completely solo and unsupported on Antarctica.

Meet Timothy Larsen.

Tired of life, the last of his savings spent on a one-way ticket to Georgia, and 1500km of solo hiking before him. This was how Timothy started his journey on the Trans Caucasian Trail. Two months later, he found a reason to live and knew this wouldn’t be his last long-distance hike.

Now he is hiking trails in some of the most unusual places in the world. Sometimes you don’t need the whole plan. You just need the first step.
