This custom ordered Nik Huber Krautster III Tigereye from 2026 was very tastefully put together and then built by German luthier maestro Nik Huber. It stuns with an 'Exceptional Quilted Maple' finished in 'Tiger's Eye', and an open pore rosewood back. The pickups are a 'Krautster B' humbucker in the bridge and a '1956' P-90 in the neck. It comes in a cool aged black and features a Handwound 65 in the neck, a Handwound Fat 60s in the middle and a Handwound Texas Special in the bridge for perfect balance across all pickup combinations. The Holy Grail! This 2010 Gibson Les Paul Slash AFD Aged and Signed is number 32 of only 100 ever made that were aged by Tom Murphy and signed by Saul Hudson himself! It's an exact copy of the famous "Appetite for Destruction" Les Paul, which was a replica of a Burst made by late Los Angeles luthier Chris Derrig and Slash's primary guitar on Guns N' Roses' legendary first studio album. There's a lot of mystery surrounding the Gibson Moderne, a design brought to life by Gibson President Ted McCarthy in 1957 alongside the now classic Explorer and Flying V. Contrary to the other two, whose 1958 Korina incarnations have become a collector's wet dream, the Moderne was never confirmed to have been built during the Pre-Norlin-Era. It was not officially introduced until 1982 as part of Gibsons Heritage Series.

Zakk Wylde of Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society and Pantera fame was impressed enough by the design to collaborate with Gibson in 2013/14 for a limited run of only 250 specimen. These are based on the iconic shape but feature more Wylde-specific specs like EMG 85/51 pickups, a Floyd Rose vibrato and Zakks signature pin stripe finish. This Les Paul started out as a 2015 Ace Frehley VOS Signature but has so much more to offer! It received a total 'Bavarian Makeover 2' by Gibson guru Florian Jäger from Oberstdorf, Germany.
Here's an overview of the modifications:
-authentic mahogany pore refill and nitro refin
-rolled fingerboard edges
-application of vintage patina
-historic top recarve
-authentic neck profile
-Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard (with CITES certification, of course)
-Mazzucchelli Cellulose Nitrate Inlays
-fret end nibs with Royalite binding
All the effort put into the guitar makes it an extremely resonant and worn in feeling piece that looks and sounds just as close as you can get to a true 'Burst. Jäger even went all the way and applied Frehleys original serial number 9 1878 in historic lettering to the headstock.
