Die Mehrwertsteuererhöhung ab 1.1.24 - einige können es nicht mehr hören, andere wissen nichts davon.... Fakt ist, dass sich die gastronomische Landschaft dadurch verändern wird - leider für keinen von uns in eine positive Richtung. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Befürworter argumentieren "das war doch klar, war ja nur eine befristete Hilfe". Das stimmt, die Diskussion über die Ungerechtigkeit gibt es aber schon viel länger...

Weiterhin mit 7% besteuert werden Speisen von Imbiss, Tankstelle, Bäckerei. Also "To Go" und damit genau die Angebote unserer Branche, die Verpackungsmüll verursachen. Denn Spülen von Geschirr stellt eine Dienstleistung dar und wird mit 19% besteuert.

Aber macht das wirklich Sinn in diesen Zeiten? Die Benachteiligung derjenigen, die Gästen einen warmen Platz anbieten, Speisen auf Porzellan servieren und mit Gästen einen Plausch halten?

Und falls du nun auch denkst, dass wir "rumheulen"... Ja, das tun wir! Denn alles an dieser Entscheidung spricht gegen unsere Überzeugung: Soziale, ökologische und ökonomische Nachhaltigkeit.

P.S. Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato und Co zählt auch unter Speisen, aber das ist ein anderes Thema der deutschen Steuerwüste
