A new chapter begins: bóbó e.V. is officially here! 🧡
On September 5, we celebrated the founding of bóbó e.V. with around 70 guests at Fabrique im — with music, conversations, ideas, mooncakes, and so much warmth. 🧡
With the founding of bóbó e.V., a new chapter begins for us: From now on, we will organize our cultural events not only under bóbó books, but together under the umbrella of the association.
But what does bóbó actually want?
We want to create an open space for art, culture, and encounter — and promote cultural exchange between Europe and (South) East Asia. We want to make Chinese and Asian cultures visible, understandable, and tangible in all their diversity.
In conversation with our two board members Peixiang Deng () and Xiaowen Xu() , our guests also actively took part. They shared ideas, wishes, and questions, giving us many impulses for bóbó’s next steps. That afternoon, the room was filled with joy, enthusiasm, openness, and warmth.
A celebration like this would not have been possible without so many helping hands. A very special thank you goes to:
