From our own experience of more than 20 years of trading with vintage designer furniture (as past perfect) , we know that the purchase of spare parts for classic design is painful, because it is for many trade representatives of the manufacturer a rather unloved business. Often the assignment of the spare parts is not easy, because the spare parts lists do not have a

ny pictures and if ordered some parts, you are waiting for the replacement parts for the designer furniture for several weeks. Not infrequently, the parts must be picked up in the store. Some parts, such as the rubber connection of the armrest to backrest connection (also called shock mounts ) of the Eames Lounge Chair, or the connection rubber between seat and chair base of Eames Side Chairs (also called shock mounts ) are impossible to get at the trade representatives. The spare parts are essential for the restoration of Design Interior. Many design furniture are continually rising in value, thus the effort and the use of original parts in many cases is quite lucrative.

No shipping within EU, we simply cannot meet these requirements!
The new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) presents enormous challenges for small businesses. What may be manageable for large corporations with their own legal, administrative and compliance departments can mean a disproportionate amount of bureaucracy, documentation and additional costs for a small company like ours.
We want to continue serving our customers throughout the EU – but we cannot run our business while also dealing with a level of bureaucracy that exceeds our financial and administrative capacity.
That is why, for the time being, we are forced to suspend shipping within the EU.
This is not a decision we are making lightly. It is the consequence of regulations that, in our view, do not sufficiently take the realities of small businesses into account.
👉 We need fair and practical rules – not bureaucracy that pushes small businesses out of the market.
