Carmel Joy

I’m a teacher, a community builder, and a mum. I love creating things for and with my kids. Explore more on carmeljoy.com.au He loves chewing on everything!

A little bit about me:

I’m a mum of a super adorable little toddler. I was on the hunt for teething necklaces as I saw a friend with one, and bought a few but kept searching for more that I loved but couldn’t quite find the right one... So, I started making my own! I hope you can find one that you love--if not, feel free to send me a message and see if I can create it for you! My beads are all food grade silicone (made in Australia) and/or natural beech wood. They have easy release clasps in case little fingers pull them off you, they won’t break or strangle anyone.

Life transitions can leave us feeling a little untethered.

Sometimes what we need isn't to have all the answers.

Sometimes we just need a place to pause, create, and reconnect with ourselves.

A little bit of Bali inspired watercolour. We got to eat breakfast next to these striking cassowaries, the leaves looked like they were literally splattered with paint sometimes… glad I brought my travel watercolour set—the boys also enjoyed painting with me too! 🥰👩🏻‍🎨

Not because someone needed you.

Not because it was productive.

Not because it was on the to-do list.

Just because it filled your cup.
