So good to see on the bike and having fun. 🙌

After everything he’s been through, watching him ride, lift the front wheel and hit small jumps again is seriously inspiring. That kind of determination means a lot far beyond BMX.

We’re stoked to see his lightweight titanium setup with KHE MAC tires helping him enjoy riding again, one step at a time.

Big respect, Scotty. Thanks for the inspiration and for reminding everyone what BMX is really about. ❤️

Another big weekend for the KHE MAC Team with podium finishes and some seriously good riding.

🥇 Huge congrats to MiKE🍁VARGA for taking the win in BMX Park Best Trick with a massive one.

Thomas Göring, founder of KHEbikes and one of Germany‘s BMX pioneers, has officially been inducted into the BMX Hall of Fame Germany.

From a BMX 2000 to the BMX Hall of Fame.

In 1980, Thomas bought his very first BMX bike – a BMX 2000. What started as a passion quickly became a lifelong journey.

For the first six years, BMX racing was everything. One of his biggest achievements came at a race in Rödermark, where he made the final out of 116 riders. The following season, he earned the prestigious #8 plate.

In 1986, a new chapter began: BMX Freestyle. Based in Karlsruhe, Thomas focused mainly on Flatland and met many of the BMX friends he still rides with today.

Then came 1988.

A small rider-owned BMX company was born: KHEbikes.

The first BMX pegs were handmade in a bedroom and sold from a wooden box at BMX contests. Soon followed groundbreaking products such as the Grind Disc and one of the early KHE BMX bikes, the legendary KHE Catweazle.

Over the decades, countless innovations followed. The KHE MAC folding tire became one of the most successful BMX freestyle tires ever made and has been ridden by BMX professionals and the KHE MAC Team worldwide for more than 15 years. It was also the first folding freestyle BMX tire of its kind.

Further innovations included products such as the KHE AFFIX Rotor, the KHE Freecoaster Hub, multiple butted handlebars and many other developments and patents that helped shape modern BMX.

Being inducted into the BMX Hall of Fame Germany is not only a recognition of achievements and innovations.

It is recognition of a lifetime dedicated to BMX.

During his speech, Thomas thanked everyone who accompanied him throughout his journey – his family, friends, riding buddies, team riders, business partners and the entire BMX community that has been part of the story over the past decades.

He closed his speech with words that perfectly capture what BMX has always meant to him:

“What BMX is all about: a friendship for life.”

And the KHE story continues...
