Happy ! On this day, our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with and girls caught in conflict 🇺🇦

According to Save the Children, there are 7.5 million kids who are in danger of physical harm, emotional distress and displacement due to the invasion in Ukraine.

The organization will use donations to help families meet their basic needs such as food, medicine and shelter. They will also help Ukrainian children get access to education and psychosocial support.

2021 was another exceptional year in many ways. And I would like to look at what remained positive.

I am proud and happy to report that last year we raised over 5,000€ for schools and Kigas in Munich and some more for Plant for the Planet through our Popup stores!

I am afraid this is not anywhere near the amount we raised in the past, due to the pandemic. But we stay happy and grateful that we did our very best in spreading joy of reading and raising free books for the schools and kigas, under the circumstance! 💪🙏😊

You see, we wish to give back to our community and the very planet we inhabit and you have helped this process AND helped your friendly small local business, Smart Cookies! 🤓😊 You are making a difference and we are utterly thankful for you! ❤️

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm, help, support and connection last year. It is my absolute pleasure to serve you and the community. I will bring more school & Kiga events and Popup stores near you in the new year!

Et voilà! Raised over 600€ for the school! Sparkling new books for their library. The school and library team was thrilled and I was chubbed that I was able to help them. Gratifying.

Out doing what I do well (so I am told 😉) to spread the magic and joy of reading and to connect with my little and big customers 😊

It is mainly with the little ones due to the Corona policy but it is all the same - JOY. 🌟💫💞💓💕

Of course I made an effort to make it lovely, twinkly and Christmassy for the little ones! 🤗❤️🎄

We recommend you shop alone, whenever possible. BUT - when you have to manage a child, a newborn, a dog and a husband on a weekend, just bring them - there is plenty of room here for them too! This beautiful little child kept herself busy while her parents shopped ❤️

We loved how her Italian mum arrived exclaiming, ‘Oh it’s beautiful, I love it already!’ 🥰😍❤️ but that’s for another time! 😊
