Aperture by Jill Anholt Studio is competing for the 2026 CODAawards People’s Choice Award.

Aperture creates a dynamic, painterly impression of the vorteses, eddies, cascades, and flows of the Spokane River lying unseen just beyond the Fine Arts and Photography building at Spokane Falls Community College. The integrated glazing artwork made from a chrome reflected frit evokes the creativity, energy and dynamism that resides throughout the facility.
We are proud to have fabricated the architectural art glass for this remarkable project and to have supported the realization of Jill Anholt’s artistic vision.

Derzeit setzen wir einen Entwurf von Prof. Christine Triebsch für die Neugestaltung eines Chorfensters in der Marktkirche St. Benedikti in Quedlinburg um.

Ausgangspunkt des Projekts ist die Instandsetzung der bislang transparent verglasten Chorfenster. Das zentrale Gestaltungselement des Entwurfs ist die Raute. Ein Motiv, das bereits im historischen Bestand vorhanden ist und von der Künstlerin zu einer zeitgenössischen Fenstergestaltung weiterentwickelt wurde.

Die Gläser werden in unserer Werkstatt von Hand mit Airbrush-Technik bemalt, thermisch verformt und anschließend thermisch gehärtet sowie zu Einscheibensicherheitsglas verarbeitet.

Die Realisierung des neuen Fensters wird durch eine Spendenaktion der Kirchengemeinde begleitet. Wer das Projekt unterstützen oder mehr darüber erfahren möchte, findet den Link zur Spendenaktion unten im Beitrag.

Studio views from the glass art fabrication process for “Field Trip (2026)” by artist Ann Tarantino Ann Tarantino . The artist worked with Glasmalerei Peters studios to translate her design into glass using airbrushed vitreous ceramic enamels assembled into an IGU.

The permanent public artwork is now installed at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Medical Center College of Dentistry. Commissioned by the Nebraska Arts Council in collaboration with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Medical Center College of Dentistry and the Healing Arts Program.

Now installed at The Malta Building in Pittsburgh, PA: “Pandemic: Albert Camus, Frantz Fanon, Rania Mamoun“ by artist Diane Samuels.

This glass artwork brings together literary voices from Algeria, Martinique, and Sudan in a reflection on illness, colonialism, and resilience.
The panels feature English micro‑script transcriptions by Diane of:
„The Plague“ by Albert Camus (trans. Stuart Gilbert,1948)
“Medicine and Colonialism” from Frantz Fanon’s ‚A Dying Colonialism‘ (trans. Haakon Chevalier, 1965)
Poems from „Something Evergreen Called Life“ by Rania Mamoun (trans. Yasmine Seale , 2023)
 
The five‑bay format mirrors the structure of Camus’ novel.
Warm earth tones and deep blues evoke the landscapes and waters of Northern Africa. A map of Oran forms the background, while a red graph line — based on daily global Covid‑19 death tolls from 2020 — runs across all five bays.
 
Dedicated to those lost during the Covid‑19 pandemic, the work invites quiet reflection on the human condition across time and place.

These images follow the journey of the creation of seven stained‑glass windows designed by the artist .tribolet and crafted in the workshops of — from first sketches and material tests to their final presence in the Church of Saint‑Remi in Bihain, Belgium.
Mouth‑blown antique glass, traditional leadwork, acid etching and silver stain were used to bring the design into glass. The abstract composition was inspired by the surrounding peat bogs, their moors and heathlands.
The windows reintroduce color and light to a place that stood without stained glass windows since their destruction during the Second World War.
