Do you dream of producing a mountain of silk handkerchiefs in your show?

Here’s a great opportunity to save some money.

I am constantly looking for new, high-quality products. Unfortunately, I don’t always receive exactly what I ordered – and this is one of those cases.

The silk itself is the correct 6 momme quality, you know:
ultra-thin, semi-transparent, and very compact when packed.

However, I am not satisfied with the stitching. Normally, I would have returned them, but I figured there might be performers who are a bit less picky than I am – and who would appreciate affordable silk handkerchiefs.

Known Issues (and the reason for the price)

There are two main issues, and a third one seen only on a few pieces:

The handkerchiefs are sewn from edge pieces, and the manufacturer took a shortcut:
They are only stitched on three sides (the fourth side is factory-sealed).

The finishing is somewhat rough, meaning there may be loose threads that need trimming.

On a few pieces, the thread tension was too tight, resulting in slightly uneven stitching, especially around the corners.

None of these issues are visible when the silks are used from just a few meters away.

Today I finished the design for the back wall of my booth. It pretty much looks like the old one. But this is actually a new product I'll launch at the Blackpool Magic Convention

For the past 10 months, I've been working with a manufacturer to develop a lightweight, easy-to-handle back wall for tradeshows AND performers. The total weight of a 300x230 cm wall (10 by 7 2/3 feet) is less than 10 kg (20 pounds). It will fit in a suitcase and can be assembled by one person in less than 10 minutes.

The frame is made from anodized aluminum. The fabric stretches, so any wrinkles will disappear when assembled, and the print is high quality.

This is made for traveling and heavy use. It will be competitive in both price and quality. A 300x230 cm wall, delivered with your own custom design anywhere in the world (almost), will cost aprox. 630 USD including taxes and shipping.

You can have any size you want, and/or combine multiple walls. I'll post images of them when I get the new samples.
